What's Happening at the Interfaith Garden?
You may be wondering about the Garden's eleventh year! What could possibly follow our 10th successful year? You can probably guess that the Garden's opening has been delayed by social distancing: concerns about people working closely with each other. Carla, our head gardener, is at the Garden every time volunteers are there and it is hard for her to explain to someone how to trim the broccoli while staying six feet away from them! There are a few people working at the garden now. The manure has been spread, the paths prepared, and some plants are ready to harvest: asparagus, chives and scallions. We will let you know when a schedule is made up for more volunteers. Meanwhile, find your gloves, a hat, and a really good mask!
