Sunday Worship

Children-Worship.jpgThe Sunday morning service is where congregational life comes together. In an informal but structured worship service, we pray for ourselves and others, listen for a word from God, and raise our voices in praise and thanksgiving. Spiritual seekers are welcome. We explore questions of faith together.

Upon entering the church on Sunday you will be welcomed at the door with a friendly handshake. Ushers will meet you at the entrance to the sanctuary and provide you with the service bulletin.

The worship service includes hymn singing, prayers, choral anthems and a special time for children. Music may be accompanied by a pipe organ or piano. The sermon is Biblical, joyful, and relevant to life situations. We observe the sacraments of communion and baptism. Our communion table is open to all.

Professional childcare is available. A quiet room for restless little ones and their parents is available in the balcony. It is equipped with a speaker and a window onto the sanctuary so that families may enjoy the service.

After the service everyone, including children of all ages, is invited to stay for coffee, juice and refreshments.
