Music

The congregation enjoys many forms of musical expression from classical organ pieces and traditional hymns to Gospel and more contemporary styles. The sanctuary is known in the music world for its excellent acoustics. We have been the site of many recordings and even some world premieres of choral music.

The music program is under the leadership of David Mislin, an accomplished organist and choral director.

There are many opportunities for members of the congregation to be involved with the music program. Membership in any Pilgrim Choir is without audition; the ability to read music is not a requisite. Some members sing only for the Advent, Christmas, or Easter seasons. Others choose short-term commitments like singing in a Gospel choir, men's or youth ensemble, or playing in a bell choir.
