Music has always played a special role in the life of Pilgrim Church. The organ is a very fine one, and the acoustics are wonderful. There is much enthusiasm from those who participate, as we do, in the various choirs. And the congregation responds warmly to the deepening of the worship experience that music affords. Our lives are all enriched.

What brought me to Pilgrim Church in the beginning was Judy's dynamic personality. When I visited Pilgrim, I felt I was part of a family. I found the congregation open, accepting and non-judgmental. I felt I belonged. This is the place to nurture my spiritual growth as well as the place for my children's Christian education.

"When looking for a church in Lexington, I started with Pilgrim Congregational Church as it was just like the church where I grew-up in Wilmington, Mass. After a couple of Sunday visits, Rev. Judy Brain, our former pastor sent me a letter asking if we couldn't get together sometime. Soon after, we met at my house. Judy explained that Pilgrim was a very warm, caring, friendly church. This spring I had a small accident. Within hours, it was known through out the congregation and I had phone calls, flowers, sweets, offer of rides and could they help with any errands. Judy was sure RIGHT!!! Thank you Judy, Sally and the members of Pilgrim."

FROM OUR PASTOR
As our Annual Meeting approaches, and I reflected on the various things we've done together in my Pastor's Report, I feel excited. We've had a great year so far. It's been a year of transitions, of beginnings and endings, but I sense excitement and hope when we're together on Sunday mornings and when we perform the business of the church as the body of Christ.
